EPL: Conte ready to replace Carrick as Man Utd manager

Former Italy head coach, Antonio Conte is keen to take the Manchester United job.

Conte has previously coached Premier League teams like Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur in the past.

However, the 57-year-old is currently out of job, after his contract was terminated at Napoli in June 2026.

With Michael Carrick coming under increasing pressure at Old Trafford, Conte has now positioned himself to replace the Englishman.

According to Calcio Mercato, Conte believes he is ready for a fresh challenge in the Premier League.

United have failed to win their last five fixtures under Carrick and sit in 13th place on the league table.
