2027: Zuru Moves To Mobilise Massive Support For Idris, Tinubu
Ahead of the 2027 general elections, Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State is calling on all All Progressives Congress (APC) members and lovers of progress in Kebbi to mobilise massively for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election.
Abdullahi Idris Sadaukin Zuru, Special Adviser on Communication and Strategy to the Kebbi State Governor, who commented on the issue, also noted that multi-party democracy gives Nigerians the sovereign right to choose their party and direction.
He recalled that in 2023, the people of Kebbi State made that choice decisively by electing Comrade Governor Nasir Idris under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Governor Idris came into office with tested credentials in labour, trade unionism, and service to the people.
That record, backed by the All Progressives Congress (APC) manifesto, delivered a landslide mandate and a clear directive for purposeful leadership.
After years of Kebbi being short-changed in the allocation of federal board and commission memberships, President Tinubu has reversed the trend and authorised Comrade Nasir Idris to recommend credible, experienced, and selfless Kebbi indigenes for appointment.
Governor Idris also enjoys the listening ear of President Tinubu on issues of unjustified removal or denial of Kebbi indigenes’ deserved positions in the federal service.
The federal government’s acknowledgement of the governor’s complementary support — through the provision of logistics and financial assistance to security agencies in combating banditry in the state — is also worthy of note.
The consistent additional support from the federal government, in the form of food and agricultural palliatives through the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, has also complemented Comrade Gov. Idris’s policy of annual distribution of free farming inputs to the people of the state. This must have equally contributed to the cordial relationship.
These gains have proved that Kebbi benefits most when it stands firmly with the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the centre.
For this indisputable reason, Governor Idris has the moral and political duty to lead Kebbi in delivering massive votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
The governor also affirms that every Nigerian retains the constitutional right to vote according to the conscience and track record of the candidate of their choice.
Today, Comrade Idris’s choice is paying off: unity across party lines and development in every sector.
As we approach 2027, Governor Nasir Idris is calling on all APC members and lovers of progress in Kebbi to mobilise massively for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election.
The centre is listening to Kebbi, and we must keep that door open.
